Course Overview
Course Overview Move your welding career forward with The Welding Institute’s (TWI's) BS4872 welding qualification. The course comprises Parts 1 and 2 testing to enable candidates who already have knowledge of welding to be able to comply with industry standards. Once you successfully complete the course you will effectively receive the BS4872 welder qualification code, which proves you have reached the required standard.
Entry Requirements
You should already have some welding skills (or have completed the appropriate preparation course) and be ready to achieve the level needed to comply with industry standards.
Please note: Where wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a mandatory requirement of the course, it is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that they are able to wear such equipment. Assessment Methods
The course requires you to produce a series of welds to BS4872 standard using your preferred procedure and material.
Each weld you produce will be visually inspected prior to the final assessment taking place.
Other Costs and Equipment Needed
All the equipment and resources you need are provided by B&FC at no extra cost.
