Course Overview

This MOT Manager training is designed for people who want to run or manage an MOT test centre. It gives you the knowledge and confidence to manage MOT testing, staff, and compliance to DVSA requirements.

If you already work as an MOT tester, vehicle technician, or in vehicle maintenance, this IMI-accredited MOT training course helps you move into a management role within the motor industry.

This course is ideal if you plan to take responsibility for MOT operations or want to progress into an MOT manager role.
 

Entry Requirements

The MOT Manager Training qualification will be of interest to those individuals wishing to set up an MOT Testing Station, or who may already be an MOT Tester and wish to advance their career.

There are no formal entry requirements for the MOT Manager Training qualification.

Successful completion of the Award in MOT Centre Management gives you a recognised qualification that shows you are ready to manage an MOT operation.

This course teaches you what you need to:

  • Run an MOT station day to day
  • Meet all DVSA legislative and compliance requirements
  • Take responsibility for MOT testing standards
  • Progress into senior or management roles

Assessment Methods

The course is assessed via an open book multiple choice test.
