Energy management is concerned with controlling and reducing energy consumption to help businesses save money and manage energy more efficiently. There are good career prospects within energy management, and in energy analysis in particular, with employers to be found across a variety of areas and sectors.

Career Opportunities

Energy Manager

This role requires good project management, communication and negotiation skills. You would be responsible for planning, regulating and monitoring the energy use in an organisation or facility. Your aim would be to improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place new policies where needed. Starting salaries range from £22,000 to £33,000.
